Yoga is in vogue

Lately in my class I’ve been noticing that women are showing up with fancier and fancier yoga bags. Also, many women seem to bring their own mats too. I remember that it used to be that almost everyone used the mats that the local gym provided.
Could this mean that yoga is becoming more mainstream? Once people start to buy their own equipment it means that they like what they’re doing and are committing to it.
The classes aren’t getting bigger, but the more personal equipment I see means to me that the people are liking yoga and will keep coming back.
