American Citizens are Blessed with Freedoms Others Do Not Have

Witnessing the recent Tea party protests throughout the country reminds you of the liberties that American citizens are blessed to have. We should not be so quick to take this for granted. There are many countries where citizens would be jailed or worse by simply verbalizing their disagreement with government decisions. I think that it is a wonderful right to be able to freely express my disagreement with something without having to worry about what can happen to either me or my family. It is appreciated even more when those who I agree with respect my right to disagree, giving us a chance to work towards a common solution.
