School Board Meeting Proved Valuable

I recently went to local school board meeting to find out what actions were being taken to protect my children from all the junk out there in our world. They showed how lockers were being searched for drugs. They showed how metal detectors had been installed by all outside doors to prevent fire arms from being brought in. They also showed how every month they search sex offenders in our area and train the teachers to identify these individuals if they are anywhere near the school grounds. These steps gave me the comfort I need as both time and money were being spent for the protection of my child.
