Camping in the Deep

I wanted to get out into nature and experience the deep woods. My family wanted to get out into nature, but only in the backyard. At first, I wanted to throw a fit for their lack of gumption. But, when I saw how happy everyone was crammed together in our little tent in the back yard, I realized that family time is not about what or where you go, but whether or not you enjoy one another’s company while you are doing it. I appreciated that day more than many others, even thought it was the most simple of our time together.
