Monthly Fees For Condo Association

I have owned a lot of properties in my lifetime but the one thing that I have not owned or lived in before is a place with a homeowner’s association involved. At first I did not understand what the monthly fees were all about but now I understand and I actually believe that it is going to be quite helpful in my situation. I am looking for a condo because now that I am by myself I want to have as little to worry about as possible yet still feel like I own something. The condominium association insurance is one of those things that I don’t want to do on my own.
