Yes Virginia There Are Toronto Flowers

My family decided to move to Canada to be near my aging parents. Although my husband and I were happy to be going back home, my South Florida-born daughter had her doubts. Virginia had grown up surrounded by bright blooms, summer and winter and had a vision of northern areas as vast sheets of ice. She believed she would never see a blossom again. Soon after we settled into our new home, we took the family to a large park filled with the toronto flowers I remembered. Even Virginia was impressed and began to believe that she would have a good time in her new home.
