Wall or Bathtub

I have two small bathrooms in my house and they are directly next to each other through separate halls in the house. One is in the master bedroom and the other is in between our girls room and the guest bedroom. We are thinking about doing a bathroom remodeling but we do not know whether to make the bathroom one big bathroom for the house or just add a bigger bathtub for one of the rooms. Would it be less expensive to remove an adjoining wall or change out a bathtub to bring the rooms a little more up to date and comfortable?
