Viral Marketing and streaming Video

Internet marketers are starting to use video streaming as a selling tool in a big way. Why , well because television advertising is becoming less effective every day with falling audiences and the advent of the PVR personal video recorder or Tivo, which means less and less people are watching live TV. With a PVR the viewer can skip an add break with one click on the remote. Advertisers are already experimenting with streaming Video but with a completely different approach to the “insert an ad in this slot/programme” that has been the method used for the last 50 years. The proposition is that the adverts have to become “viral” , something that resonates with the target audience so well and that looks so cool that you have to send a link to your friend to see.
