Vacationing in Indiana

Vacationing in Indiana can be a lot of fun, especially if you go to Indianapolis.  There are plenty of things to do there.  If you know that you are going to be there in August, make sure that you stop by the state fair.  The animal lover in you will love it here.  You will see cows, sheep, chickens, bunnies, horses and donkeys.  If you are lucky you will be able to see baby chicks hatching at the fair.  For the rooster lover, the rooster crowing contest is perfect for you.  See how well you can imitate roosters and win the prize.  The fair has lots of food and several rides to get on.  Listen to the concerts and listen to the drum corps drumming away.

Be sure to go to the museums while visiting as well.  There are quite a few in and around this great city.  The Children’s Museum is a lot of fun.  Many adults have just as much fun as the kids do, especially in the SpaceQuest Planetarium.  Let your children take part in the hands on exhibits.  Then head over to the Indiana State Museum and see the cultural and historical art.  They even have artistic art!   The Indiana Medical History Museum is a unique museum to visit as well.  Enjoy your vacation.
