Puppy training creativity

My oldest daughter finally got a puppy and she was told that she needed to do the puppy training herself. She was so excited until she realized that training a puppy is a lot harder than it looks. The puppy has a mind of its own and has no desire to listen to anyone. We finally decided that we would call in a professional trainer but that my daughter would have to do extra chores to defray the costs. So far the puppy has been training beautifully and my daughter is finally starting to see how much responsibility a puppy is.
