I love establishing a new apartment or other kind of household ! It’s a form of creativity for me. I look at the colors of the walls, the textures of surfaces, and how space is laid out. Setting up a new household is a rite of passage for many of us and it can be quite expensive the first time out and if moving costs are involved.
What are some practical house warming gift ideas? I remember all of the things I did not have and really needed on a regular basis. I needed to have my car tuned up. I needed some grocery staples, I needed help in setting up a new phone line. I really could have used a gift card for gasoline. I could have used a small tool kit with supplies such as duct tape in it. I also needed a small sewing kit to make repairs to my clothing . I needed cleaning staples for the house.
I know that people like to give other kinds of gifts and I have no problem with this. I am just a very practical person. It is possible to individualize practical gifts or give something a bit more extravagant. Either is really okay !
