Parenting Tips Following A Divorce

At the time of your divorce it is very important to sit down with your spouse and drawn up a parenting plan for your children because, whatever your problems may be, they should not be allowed to interfere with the love and care which you continue to give to your children. One of the most important parenting tips that I can give you though is that you should not only draw up a parenting plan, but should agree to sit down at regular intervals and update it. As you children grow up and circumstances change so too will your approach to parenting and it is vital for the welfare of the children that your approach towards the children is consistent. If it is not then this will not be fair on the children and, just as important, it will open you up to a situation in which the children will start to play one parent off against the other which can create no end of problems for everyone concerned.
