My Son Needs Gift Ideas for His New Girlfriend

My son Fred never dated in school. He never dated in college either. We just thought that he wasn’t that interested because he was so passionate about his work as an archaeologist. I had pretty well made up my mind that I would not be having any grandchildren to cuddle, at least from Fred. You can imagine my surprise when my son brought home a fellow researcher for Christmas, and he turned out to be a she. It seems that they met on a dig together. Fred took me aside to ask about girlfriend gift ideas because he has never had this situation before. I was delighted to make several suggestions. I may have grand-children after all.
