What Are Medical Assistant Duties?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has stated that medical assistants is one of the fastest growing professions in the US today. If you are looking forward to this job its a great thing and as a medical assistant you will have to perform lots of duties which are very interesting. The time hours and duty shifts depend and varies from place to place. The normal medical assistant duties are- to take medical histories of patients, record the vital signs in them, preparing patients for examinations like X ray, ultrasound, make bills, help doctors in operation room, schedule appointments, look after different clerical tasks, recording medical information about the patient and other administrative duties.
