The Words of Wisdom About Alcohol Abuse From a Professor

“The key to alcohol abuse prevention is seeing the danger in excessive drinking and refraining from such activity before it has a chance to turn into damage and destruction.” These words of wisdom were spoken by Mr. Jacoby, a nutrition and health professor at a small liberal arts college in the Midwest. While Mr. Jacoby also saw the necessity of alcohol abuse treatment, he thought that if a person prevents alcohol abuse from happening in the first place, he or she does not have to worry about treatment. Not only this, but Mr. Jacoby reasoned that if a person doesn’t engage in alcohol abuse, he or she will never become alcohol dependent.
