Skin care cream shouldn’t contain collagen
July 24th, 2008 by admin
skin care cream always comes with ingredients on the label. Look to see if your one has collagen. If it does, it’s suspect. Here’s why. In your body, the protein collagen is a natural, helpful thing. In fact it is why your skin looked so youthful when you were young. Unfortunately collagen begins to break down and dissipate when we age, and this is why your skin now looks older than it did. Why it has those lines and wrinkles. This is well known by the industry, and many skin care cream manufacturers add it to their product so you can rub it into your skin and restore some of that youthfulness. Problem is the molecules will not fit through the pores of your skin. It’s useless to put it there. What your skin care cream needs to do is rejuvenate the dwindling supplies of collagen left in your body so your skin can regain some of its youthfulness again. You don’t need it in your cream, but you need it stimulated in the tissues near your skin!
