When we go for a walk or a jog often we only make it 20-30 minutes. If you want to maximize your workouts to burn belly fat you need to keep pushing your workouts beyond 30 minutes and stretch for 60 minutes. It’s in those last thirty minutes that you’ll start to burn fat for energy. The first 20 minutes or so actually burn stored energy in your muscles known as glycogen. If you stop after you’ve only used this energy then you’ll end up being disappointed with your results.
