Why Make Residual Income In a Recession?

As economic uncertainty grips the country more and more people are considering starting their own business to make a living. The nice thing about having your own business is that you never have to count on someone else to provide your livelihood, in fact if you play your cards right, you might have several healthy streams of residual income and will no longer be forced to rely on corporate jobs to get paid. Royalties are another form of income similar to residuals that can be extremely useful.
