Storing Receipts In A Cardboard Box

If you have a heap of receipts that you want to sort out and enter on a spreadsheet, rather than piling them up in a drawer, get a decorative cardboard box from one of the online stores. Choose one with an appropriate decorative theme that suggests food, if the receipts are for grocery bills. Take all those receipts and box them up together. A shoe-sized box should work just fine.
Place the cardboard box on your desk in a prominent location and since this is a decorative cardboard box it will visually tease you. You will notice the box most days. Oh, yeah, that’s where my household receipts are. Sooner or later, you’ll open it up and get the job done putting all those figures into your spreadsheet and your home will be less cluttered.
