A new program or software package is worth nothing to you until it goes operational. When you have installed web based customer relationship management systems you expect it to provide a minimum of operational data to your sales, marketing, and service groups. Each contact needs to be catalogued so that no matter who your client works with in your organization the total background information will be available. This in itself will make your business appear as one entity rather than a group of uncoordinated individuals. Each of your clients should be able to expect the same level of knowledge and service no matter who they are dealing with in your company.
