Shifting Gears in Thinking

Well, we’ve all done it-gotten mad at the driver in front of us, that is.  There are statistics out there that show that aggressive driving is one of the top contributors to traffic accidents. How many times have you gotten angry because the person in front of you was driving too slow?  How about that time the person beside you sped up and then cut you off?  There are enough bad drivers out there; you don’t have to be one of them.  When you feel yourself starting to become agitated, try taking some deep breaths; turn up the radio if you have to.  The absolute worst thing you could do, however, is get angry.  Getting angry will get you nowhere.  Also, even if you’re not an aggressive driver, it is always good to be on the lookout for those who are aggressive because chances are, they’re not driving too carefully.  Remember, driving is a privilege, not a right.
