Reflective Coats

I unfortunately was pulled over the other day driving in England. I had rented a car from what I thought was a reputable company and when I was pulled over I was asked to show him our reflective coats. I had no idea that this was a requirement for a left hand drive 4×4. When I contacted the rental company they notified me that it was my responsibility to provide these for my passengers. I learned a few valuable lessons that day, not to mention expensive. For one, I will use a company to rent a car from that informs me of the rules of the road.
