Tattoos: Just Cool

It seems to me that tattoos are always worn by the “cool crowds”.
For instance, it takes a certain kind of confidence to have a permanent record of romance drawn on your back.
Most of us are too scared to have “Ted and Rebecca Forever” written permanently on ourselves. After all, if a boy breaks up with Rebecca and falls in love with Jen, that’s a lot of letters to erase.
And what about people who are so beautiful that they have multiple flower or heart tattoos on their bodies - all the better to show off at movie premiers and awards ceremonies? I don’t think I have that much skin on my body I’d want the public to see.
It goes without saying that bikers, sailors, and “tough guys” are in the cool category and will always have tattoos.
It also goes without saying that I will probably never have a tattoo. I’ll never be that cool.
